Thanksgiving Thankshmiving..

I’ve gotten a lot of requests for real blogging on my blog and so im giving in to temptation. I didn’t want to start actually blogging until I had real readers but you guys are fine for now.. lol .

Im here to warn you about the meal you are about to graciously ingest on a holiday stuffed with murder, dishonesty and plain ol’ foolishness. Ah never overestimate “the man” for hundreds of years ago he schemed and betrayed and still continues to do so. A childrens school book would depict a lovely table jam packed with food and decorations, with “Indians” and White folk dancing and cheering with that loving look in their eye of thanks. Well that look is deceitful for it is happiness not derived from thanks but from the satisfaction of knowing that at that very moment the poisoned food is soaring through the veins of the “Indians” and soon the massacre will begin. Hows that for sadistic? These Native Americans taught the whites how to live on their new soil and that how they were repaid? I think that luring innocent Native Americans with promises of peace and festivities then proceeding to shoot, burn, and poison them shouldn’t be celebrated. How about you? I mean seriously kids, when in history did white folk ever do anything civilized that envovled another race??  Native Americans were not an exception.. Have you ever seen them celebrate Thanksgiving??? I think not. Do some research and let me know what you find about this holiday. My ex was Native American and put me on to this. I checked some sites on the internet and there’s a lot to be relearned out there. And I know you guys just want the food but every year this holiday goes on, a lie is told to a new generation. Just like Christmas.. but thats a blog of a different color!

Anyways, ive never been too thrilled about Thanksgiving in the first place. All the women in the kitchen.. slaving away from the night before. Men on the couch watching the game and chillen.. I thought it was called “Thanksgiving” not “Men sit on your ass while woman beckon to your every need-day” Its the 21st fricken century for crying out loud! We can vote ladies! We have equal opportunity employment.. Either the men get up or Kalae sits down, you feel me?

So in conclusion, this year I will not be celebrating Thanksgiving.. But i will be eating in celebration of Jimi Hendrix’s 66th bday.. What?.. let all my mom and sisters good cookin go to waste?? I think not..
